Hendon Hockey Club
Hendon Hockey Club was
founded in 1885, and was for many years the largest hockey club
in north London. Unfortunately at the end of the 2002/03 season
the men's section was forced to fold following the loss of a number
of players, but the club continues to run two women's teams in the
Middlesex League. It is also involved in youth coaching, through
an association with Haringey schools, and has now established links
with London Metropolitan University. Since the start of the 2008/09
season, the club has been based at the Walker
Ground, Waterfall Road, Southgate.
